2022 was a year of cutting back, not by choice. After losing Maserati I just wanted a few less standard size goats, for a bit of a break. However, Maycee became available. One of the last live Valegro daughters, and a GCH Miriam daughter to boot. We bred Miriam but she aborted in 2022 a beautiful white kid, which was even more heartbreaking. I have decided to retire her, so getting Maycee back was a once in a lifetime chance. Many thanks to Tiffany Hunter and Marshall Losey for making this possible. She made the grand haul all the way from CO to FL and never missed a beat. This girl is SO much like her dam in looks and behavior its uncanny!
Maycee freshened with the prettiest pair of kids we had born all year. We retained her Vampiro daughter Maelys. She also knocked the barn doors down going 3x GCH And 2x Best of Breed over her half sister Marley to finish her championship AND earned a 90 LA score! We love this girl!
Maycee is a doe that truly does it all. #1 TOP TEN butterfat in 2023, kids easy with beautiful monster kids, and then we decided to take her out for champion challange at 6 years 6 freshenings and she was 2x Best of Breed and 1x Best in Show. Now she asks if she can stay home please! She also produces the most beautiful daughters. Maelys is a favorite here.
