When Kava Kona was born, I knew she had to stay! Fitting to keep the first Kava doe kid from the first Here be Goats bred Nigerian. And her dam Jamaica did not disappoint! Best Junior doe in show at her first show out and then holy cow did she surprise me going 1x GRAND over 54 senior does and 1x Reserve to earn a milking leg as a yearling! That never happens. Kava Kona is so much like her dam in type with a lot of Ginger influence.

If overachieving is a thing - Kona did it in style with QUINTS at 12 months old. Needless to say it wore her down at first. But she had a great attitude and work ethic and bounced back well a month later, scoring a very impressing 86 for a yearling milker with an "E" in mammary! We are so impressed with her and kept her daughter "Sip Happens" who is also just a beautiful kid.
