This is one of those if it ain't broke don't fix it type of things! Each doe from the Valegro x Moment cross has been outstanding. So we kept one more!
She is also a maternal half sister to our SGCH Mai Time EX 91 who has 6 senior BDIS wins at 3 years of age! And her full sister a year older is now SGCH Maserati!
GEM, what can we say, third time is a charm? LOVE this doe. She is everything I want in a yearling. We got her out to the Southern Browsers show in MS she was 2x 1st 2x 2nd!
In 2021 Gem had a rough kidding with a HUGE single that ripped her vaginal rectal vault, she had surgery to repair, but they did a midline and it herniated. She had subsequent surgery to repair the hernia. Her daughter Mardi Gras freshened Amazingly and her single doe kid this year. Mardi went on to be 6th place yearling milker with 3rd udder at 2021 nationals! Twisted Tea is my ideal version of what I want my herd to look like and was 8th intermediate kid out of 36 and also freshened amazing. Gem is proving to be a valuable brood doe. She kidded in 2022 with another single buck but was induced so all was well! Gem finished her championship at her second show of 2022! GCH under Justin Bassett, GCH And BOB under Richard Grossman at the 2022 Goats on the Gulf show, then GCH and BOB under Tom Cox! We are making note of judges and show wins in multiple places, so hopefully nothing gets missed with the ADGA NG backlog. Her daughter also finished at the same show. She was the 15th place 3 year old at 2022 Nationals
