PINCH ME! At Nationals in 2022 I spent about an hour before we all left visiting Mark Weir and his beautiful herd. I had watched Mark work tirelessly alone all week with a pretty large string at all hours of the day. If you get a chance, visit the herd, he is so passionate about his goats and the future of them and such a nice guy. I told him I would love something from some of his favorites, so when he told me he had a Courtney buck, I jumped on it! The Count daughters are my favorites within the herd, while still young, I think they really have such a balance of dairy strength, mammary and production. We are excited to see that crossed with Axl, whose first milking daughters appear to be stunning.

2023 Nationals did not disappoint! Courtney was 6th place 3 year old in an incredible class, and Archie's 3/4 sister Priscilla Presley was 2nd and 1st udder two year old out of 85! Priscilla and Courtney were first place produce of dam as well!

Archie is so exciting. A superbly correct animal but also a GREAT personality to go with it. I was very impressed with the quality and easy going personality that Marks kids had. A lot of handling makes a ton of difference in shipping and transitioning kids, especially to our climate here and I appreciate that so much. It is not an easy feat in a large herd when you work full time.

He is maturing into a beautiful long boned buck. His first kids are nothing short of beautiful! Long bone patterns, wide, long rumps with high thurls and pretty teat placement. His daughter Here be Goats Jamaican Blue got her dry leg first show out with a Best Junior Doe in show Win!
