Magician was a huge single AI buck
born out of Match this year. He is a combination of some of our
favorite LaManchas in the country. His pedigree is packed with
prepotent does and bucks that excel in type and structure. His
grand dam Cayenne has always been one of our favorite South Fork
does, but more importantly she has sons whose daughters are
showing improvements in MANY herds accross the country.
Magician's sire Act has several finished daughters in the Shady
Lawn herd. SGCH Shady Lawn Classy Beauty has been the LaMancha
Grand Champion at the NAILE in 2005 and 2006, in addition to
appraising 91 as a two year old and was 5th place 3 year old at
the 2006 Nationals. Another daughter SGCH Shady Lawn Classy Belle
has a 2006 lactation of over 3500lbs! Magician's dam Match is a
doe who really came into her own last year as a 5 year old and was
3x BDIS, 1x BUIS, and many times BOB. Match is one of the last
does from the "M" line of One Oak Hill LaManchas. Magician
himself is very long, tall and wide with a beautiful head. We are
excited to see what he will do for us.
